Lets make that perfectly clear. The only bidder that belongs to anyone after
the auction is the winning bidder. The winner has an obligation to buy, the seller has an obligation to sell. As an "underbidder", I do not consider
myself tied to the person on whose auction I bid since I did not win. A
bidder is only belongs to a seller while the auction is ongoing. Contacting
a bidder during the auction is unethical. Contacting anyone about a potetial sale at other times is not unethical.
