I've been doing this for a year or so as well. Seem to get 2-3 new members each quarter this way. I also send a convention wooden nickel to collectors I deal with for the first time. I did get some brochures from the So Cal Chapter that I send along with chips to residents of that area. If the other chapters have literature they would like sent, I'd be happy to send it to residents of the appropriate area. Just mail me a supply.
