The MGM is sponsoring Kalitta racing this season as noted in the final round results that Jim posted. I'm not sure what kind of deal the Kalittas have, it could just be Doug's car, or could include at least associate sponsorship of his uncle Connie or cousin Scott.

I'd hope that some of the Las Vegas casinos are aware that the NHRA traveling Nitro circus is rolling into town next month. The event should draw well over 100,000 people over the weekend. My buddy Larry Sullivan, who wrote the final results note in Jim's post, had the event dates for Vegas wrong. The summitracing.com Nationals will be April 6-9.

Below is the only drag racing chip I've ever seen, and I might be the only chipper who owns one.
