For some reason, I just cannnot get up enough courage to throw a nickle (or God forbid, a dollar) into a slot machine. I tried it a couple of times years ago, and still have the memories haunting me today of what I call literally throwing money away. A wishing well make more sense me <g>.

In any case, my question is when a person happens to hit or receive a silver strike, does he also collect the coins as well? In other words, if a person lines up, say three pieces of fruit (cherry or plum or whatever)and it pays 20 coins of what ever denomination one is playing, does he get those coins PLUS the silver strike, or is the silver strike paid in lieu of the coins?
