Turns out I did 2 trades for the $2.50's before the ship sank, one of them from Nate. I didn't think I would need 2 and offered one to Mel by phone for $35. Mel reminded me of the offer at the next chip show. He got the $2.50, and still has it unless he did another trade for a chip he wanted more.

I find it hard to believe there are only 8 of these around when I've handled 2 of them and seen 2 others in collections. Possible, but I'm from Missouri.
