I have just returned home from a few days in Las Vegas and while I was there the Fiesta came out with their new rack. FOUR each (heart, diamond, spade and club) in all denominations. All chips look very much alike. Since I collect $25's and $100's, this new rack cost me $500---$524 if you get the $1's and $5's. People sometimes say, "you don't have to buy them." Not true. If you are a collector, you buy them. Was this Gene Trimble's doing? If so, he sure owes all of us an explanation. I read many of the messages on this board and Gene is certainly highly respected and considered a friend of the collector. If you had nothing to do with this Gene, who did? If this was your doing, obviously little consideration was given to our budgets. I think this type of chip program is disgraceful. The Fiesta management must be laughing at all of us.
