This Sunday's issue (October 18) of the "NEW YORK SUNDAY NEWS" will have a special Atlantic City casino advertising pull-out supplement included.... the front cover of which announces collecting casino chips as a hobby. The cover is in full-color and illustrates several A.C. chips. Inside, the lead story is published on two full pages, which is all about collecting chips. For those of you who are able to pick up a copy at your local news stands and airports all around the country, you will enjoy reading the article, I'm sure. Included in this special pull-out section are many casino discount coupons for hotel rooms, show tickets, food, cash, etc., that will more than pay for the cost of the newspaper. There is even a free $2 cash coupon from Taj Mahal printed inside. This huge newspaper is read by millions of people across the country. It should have a big impact upon our club. This has to be our best publicity boost ever received..... and the cost to the club was a big fat NOTHING but the time involved for the phone interviews given by several club member chippers. If you are friendly with your local newspaper outlet, (WAWA, 7-11, etc.,) you may even want to ask him/her to save the inserts for you when the left over unsold newspapers are bundled up for return to the distributor for credit.
