Colorado Gaming was informed of a person attempting to sell Binion Horseshoe $100 and $5 aerodie chips. I went to look at the chips with two officers from gaming. The seller was not told of their profession. He was proud of them and had multiplied known auction prices times his chips in hand. At first he wouldn't say where he got them. As he became more comfortable with us, he leaned over to say "You know that casino owner that died two weeks ago? These are from his estate." At which time badges and guns were shown, and I was out of there. More chips are to be turned in tomorrow.
I am informed that Binions are sending out a private investigator to follow the chip trail back to Pahrump, Nevada. Great chips, you can feel the history.
Sure would like to have one of the chips, but not under these circumstances.
