The links are saved along with the rest of your preferences like your name & email address. This is an advantage for some who like to always post the same link at the end of each message. For example, a link to your home page, or cedrtain photo, etc. I realize that for some, this feature is a pain in the rear. The author of the bb software has decided to give each poster the option of whether this info is saved or not. A future release will offer that option.
