Bob, regarding the $10. chips in Atlantic City. Whatever small quantity that the collectors did not buy will usually be found on blackjack tables in those casinos, and also at the big wheel game. I've not seen any of them at games like craps or roulette.
I doubt that any dealers would pay you a winning $10. or higher bet by paying you in the blue $10. chips...... but, they do let you place those chips for your
bet if you choose to buy some of them and then use them in your betting.
