Jim, thanks for the fine post about the Prodigy board. I fully agree that we should do all possible to keep it alive and prospering. Although Greg's board is fantastic, and I check all the messages everytime I go near my computer, the Prodigy board holds a warm place in the hearts of many collectors who began there.
Greg still does post his cyberguide updates there, but we need far more participation, to include the Thursday night chat auctions.
Jim, since you have last been there, the chat auctions are now always
"instant auctions". In other words, Mr.Knapp no longer posts an advance auction list. Those in attendance in the room that night are called upon one by one to offer up a lot for auction. Now, if we could only convince some other collectors who still use the Prodigy service to be more active, it would be a
great help to the Casino Chips topic on the Collecting I BB.
