Hey Bob; When someone post an opinion on this bb, be it Chuck Smorse or Chuck Tomarchio, or anyone else, other bb users are welcome to voice their opinion as well. It's not a matter of supporting one viewpoint or another.... I think Belinda spoke her position very clearly on behalf of those who are working their ass off on behalf of the membership to provide another great CCGTCC Convention.

As for my comment about a "tent in a parking lot". Please allow me to follow up on that statement. Many are not aware that there was such a proposal to the club from Frontier to host our 2000 convention in an spacious air-conditioned tent in their parking lot. It wasn't as far-fetched an idea than may have been interpreted by my meant-to-be facetious bb remark. Had the new Board selected Frontier's tent over the Trop proposal, YES, I would have been there. Maybe the time has come to move the convention out of Las Vegas. Seems like many of the locals might be taking it for granted. At this point, I don't really care where the annual convention is held. I'll be there... even if it is held in a tent on the beach in Atlantic City. And that's my opinion!
