I'm posting this update to my question of a few days ago.

Apparently there are only 2 sets of chips used in the World Series of Poker. They are both in the picture. The newer set picture only shows a side view of the chips, but the difference is quite apparent.

Thanks to all those who have helped me with the details, especially Andy Hughes.

Now, I need to find a set of these newer chips. If anyone has any information on where or even IF I could get a set, I'd really appreciate it. These chips hold a special value to me, so I'm willing to pay a price for them.
