In my travels around the university campus where I am employed as an assistant facility manager, I was checking out conditions in a math lab and noticed a shinny multicolored book that bore the name "Dale Seymour Publications" sitting on a counter. I said to myself "I know that name!" and picked up the book. The book is a catalog of instructional books and devices authored/created by "leading authors and manipulatives". I turned the book over and on the back cover was a handsome portrait of Dale with the caption "Announcing Dale Seymour's 100th Book! 'Getting Smarter Every Day: Book F'. Teach students to "think math" with the help of Dale Seymour, lifetime educator, groundbreaking publisher, and a leading author of creative mathematics materials...." Folks I will repeat "Announcing Dale Seymour's 100th Book". WOW! what an accomplishment! Let's see, 100 educational books and 2 antique chip collecting books. Could it be our great hobby has 98 more chip collecting books forthcoming from Dale?!?! I know whatever Dale puts out for this hobby will be in my library!
