I recently purchased an entire antique poker chip collection at an auction in Loveland, Colorado. Included with the antique chips was a note book titled "DOLLAR GAMING TOKENS - Minted by the Franklin Mint - 1966 - Proof-Like Set. In the book are 18 cards with four one dollar tokens each. Each card is sealed and lists the name and location of the casino beneath the token. Each card says Group 1 thru Group 18 and "PROOF-LIKE SPECIMEN SET No. 2635". For example, the card titled Group 1 has the Sahara, Carousel, and Tropicana tokens from Las Vegas and a Overland token from Reno. All together there are 72 tokens all in proof-like condition. Not being a token collector I was wandering if there is a market value for these sets??? Any token collectors out there that can help me? Bob Ensley.
