Our NorCal/Nev Chapter President, Todd Dingley, will soon be announcing the plans for our April 8th chapter meeting being planned in Gene's honor. Over a year ago, Bruce Landau and I asked Gene where he might like to spend a week just meeting chippers and having a non- chip show atmosphere to lay back and trade stacks of chips like we used to before they had "value". It was decided to be Tahoe in the Spring.....so we set it for early April at my Brockway Springs Condo. We will be meeting with some old friends during the week and on Saturday, the club Chapter will have a meeting at which Bruce will be speaking on the "Sale of the Century" which is the legend of the sale of his collection to Jerry Wall. Everyone is invited April 8th at 1:00PM and then Lisa and I will host a buffet in the late afternoon. It will be held in the conference center at Brockway Springs, North Shore, just 50 yards from the Cal-Neva. Try and come....but BE SURE AND LET US KNOW SO WE CAN throw a few more fish- heads in the rice......Mel and Lisa
