I received the following e-mail from a fellow collector who asked that I post this on his behalf for discussion.

honor our "Fellow Deceased Chippers', why not

"THE FIRST ANNUAL MEMORIAL '2000' POKER TOURNAMENT"
HONORING :

Bob Mera,
Dan Anthony,
Ron Kurtzer,
?????????,
?????????,
?????????.

And then make it an annual tournament listing any possible
"Chippers" that may have 'departed' our earthly world during the
course of that particular year ! Although I did not know any of these
gentlemen personally, nor did I ever have the privilege and opportunity to
meet or trade chips with any of them, I too feel a great loss to a cherished
hobby that the wife and I do truly love and enjoy! This is simply "An
Idea" that you might want to pass along and post on the 'Chipboard'>>
