...I've posted a few scans of encased coins from casinos. I collect these things with a gambling theme, i.e. casinos, bingo games, lotteries, carnival games, etc. Anyway, while looking on eBay this evening I found an encased from the Bar of Music, Reno, NV. It is item #279041093. (In case I've copied the number incorrectly, search for "Bar of Music".) This is a RARE encased coin. I now know of three examples and I have two of them. A scan of my encased is on this post. Encased coins are an interesting casino collectible & compliment chips. BTW, I have had a few dealings w/ the seller (nope, it ain't me) & found him to be reliable. Does anyone have anything else from this casino? Chips, matchbooks, postcards, whatever, I'd like to see something else.
