Yes Gene,
But you forgot to add after Boreland received control of the two molds he made REAL, LEGITIMATE chips under contract for casinos that used them in play. This is why some of the dies were missing from BJ. Boreland took them to continue to fill orders. Jerry Wall had the orders via the contracts Boreland filled. I, as well as Saito, talked with Jerry prior to his stroke and asked if we could buy the paper (contracts). Jerry said he would think about it but commented that "we would than know as much as him". He later stated he wanted $10,000 for ALL Boreland paper. I have no idea where the contracts. In addition, there were 3X5 cards showing Boreland's refills of previous chips ordered by casinos. It is a shame all these documents are unaccounted for. Jerry always bragged that HE AND HE ALONE could tell which Borelands were real and which were false.
The fact Boreland produced real chips with the two molds for various casinos DOES NOT discount the information you have. All I am asking you to do is carry the information process further. Why are you so hostile? Have we, as collectors, become such "experts" that we discount the research of others and assume everything we as individuals do is GOSPEL? For goodness sakes Gene keep an open mind. Best, Jim
