Yes it is. However much the shrinkage from the wild promise, the changes were for the better. ARCHIE or some AC'er might provide additional insight;

John and Travis..... If you can call $50 million "next to nothing"<g>

Sun's original plan called for a complete theme overhaul at the aging Resorts property. It was to be renamed "The Beach Club" and owner Sol Kirzner announced that he would be spending $150 million to completely renovate the property that would rival his Paradise Island casino hotel. Instead, he decided to scale down and do some cosmetic changes, primarily a new entrance for the valet porte coerche and brighten up the inside of the casino with some new ceiling lighting .... carpeting .... bubble lava-type pillars that remind me of the old Vegas World theme. He did put in a new entertainment lounge called the 1133 Club that offers some top name acts with free admission. Overall, the place looks much nicer and cleaner.... but it's a far cry from what was originally announced.

BTW: The February numbers are just in for the 12 casinos and it was their best February EVER!
