... completely forgot about them, Robert! TCR has five condition; Herz four. Both are the same fundamental concept as my proposal (for which I take no originality credit in any event <g>). Either would be suitable, though essentially TCR includes the additional level that you & Larry prefer.

As for adding special notes re characteristics such as the hot stamp, I'm all for it. To me, a description that reads "new, but with weak hot stamp" is a lot more meaningful than "MS-95" anyway, as it tells me what the chip looks like.
