Not to worry. It will never happen.
Though I'm deadly against any form of an "Official Chip Grading System" being introduced to our club, I still feel that it is important for the newer collector to know they shouldn't be expected to pay just as much for a chip that is worn, warped, fractured of having a lifting inlay as a chip in much better condition.
A slightly warped chip can crack very easilly when pressure/weight from other binder pages come crashing down on it or when a binder is not handled/stored properly. A buyer should always ask the dealer that any chip mounted in a Mylar coin holder be removed for inspection, because the shiny cellophane window can hide many defects in a chip.
