I started this thread warning that the chips in the bezels might be shaved........... But it should be noted too that, to me, rare chips have a decent value even if shaved. It is a personal decision for everyone, but I think it is reasonable for someone with a limited chip budget to pay $100 for a neatly shaved chip that ordinarily would go for $500 or so, or to pay a substantial amount for a chip that is not available on the market. These are just quickly thought up examples. The point is: a collector should be happy with even a damaged or shaved example for his collection, assuming the price is right.
