Dick, I've not mentioned anything about
high-minimums....and I've never mentioned anything
about what I think in "my mind" about what a chip is
worth. I'm only playing with facts here,
Dick...published facts, compared and historical
value facts... thank you.
I won't even attempt to respond to our AC Chapter
auctions, because trying to sell a chip in the same
room where everyone in that market already has the
chip (and extras) is not a refelction of true market
value when the chip doesn't perform. Again, Dick, I
have no problem with anyone finding bargains at the
auction...and I would like to think that others
should not have a problem with me wanting to consign
within the published value while having the option
of not seeing a Z+ chip's bidding suddenly stop at
less than 40% of book (and there being no compition
because of the leval it is now at) where the
consignor places his one and only "protection" bid
and can then kiss his chip goodbye if a bidder
should then decide to make that one last knockout
punch taking it away at 42% of book. it ain't gonna
happen with this kid...believe you me.
Remember...all I want to do is prevent what I just
explained...and I've been very successful in doing
so in the last two years by not consigning. AND,
since I'm not suggestiong how anyone trys to save a
buck at an auction...I would greatly appreciate the
same.
Enjoy,
JB
