From what I've noticed the past year or two, ashtrays really seem to be the up and coming segment of the casino collectibles market. Prices have increased substantially and the rare ones are fetching prices in the hundreds. Who would have guessed? (But, then again, who would have ever figured the same thing about casino chips 10 years ago!) Though I don't smoke, I have to admit the ashtrays are intriguing, and the artwork is often beautiful.
