I spoke with Alan Borenstein a few days ago & he asked me to post a note updating his status. Without going in the medical details, it appears that the doctors have finally diagnosed the problem. Alan is due to have surgery this Friday which should put an end to the nonsense he has experienced since December. I had the same surgery a few years ago, which was a piece of cake! My best wishes go out to Alan for a speedy recovery. I'm sure that Alice will treat him well during his recovery. Once all is taken care of I hope that Alan will show us the BEFORE & AFTER pictures!
