LIGHT BULB ON!!!!!!!!
NOW I think I finally get it Jim!!! Here's ONE solution.........
A good friend who recently passed away....Bob Mera, used to run many an auction.
In fact, his 30 day auction would POST the name of the high bidder! Some didn't like it, he didn't care. He said if you didn't want your name posted, DON'T BID.
Sounds like a simple solution to at least identify a shill?????
How long do you think a team....seller and shill....would get bids on their items if ALL auctions were run this way?? (BTW, Doug Saito also states the winners name on his auctions too). I also think the club auction did it this way one year.......I remember seeing a seller and buyer as the same person.
I've recently started checking this on eaby and if I see the same seller and high bidder for a number of auctions......I get suspicious!!
