The Gold Star chips were also on a day cruise boat that sailed out of Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn, NY several years ago. The name of the company was Bay Cruises. Mayor Guilliani took exception to gambling boats sailing from anywhere in NYC and had the 3 mile limit to international waters extended to 12 miles. 12 miles out in the north Atlantic is pretty rough seas. The boat was out of customers and business in just a couple of weeks. The last cruise I went on was so bad, about half of the customers got sick. The boat looked more like a hospital than a casino by the time we got back to shore.
