John, there is a big difference between lack of knowledge and willful deception. Those who make claims based on lack of knowledge can usually be edicated and forgiven. Those who make knowingly false claims to puff up their chips and fleece the newbies, such as calling a chip rare when they know full well how common it is, are scoundrels.

This attribution appears to be anm honest mistake. Some people we've seen hawking fantasy chips as the real thing were liars and cheats. If we become complacent about such activities, our hobby is in serious jeopardy. We do need to be discerning in what we get bent out of shape over.
