Short Story <g>: First, it was a trick getting up to the front by the ropes to get a chance for an autograph, had to do some slick moves with a few nudges etc. At one point I thought the Secret Service was going to throw me out. Anyway, when the President came up to me I handed him the Lucky Eagle, TX 50c chip & asked him to sign it. (Keep in mind that Doug McKenzie, who I got the chips from for the sole purpose of getting the Bush's autographs, told me that they were not too high on gambling & that the Governor is trying now to close down the casinos already there.) When he first looked at the chip, he hesitated & asked what it was. I told him it was a poker chip that I used at home & I collected them for a hobby. He hesitated once again, but he eventually signed. It was easy getting him to do a second chip because I told him it was for my mother who lives in Texas, which she in fact does. The only reason I got away with it was because the LE 50c chip does not have it's name on the reverse, on the "50c", as you can see by Gene's scan. Now.....nobody let my secret out....I'm going after George Jr. when he comes to town in a couple weeks.
