I believe the only way to list items on eBay is to price them at what you want for them. How many times have I set a low ball price only to receive that price, taking a loss...not smart business.
The worst that can happen with items listed at desired prices is you may eat the list charges and have to relist if you feel so inclined.
As we all know, dealing on eBay is not always a profitable experience. By the time you average the wins with the losses there isn't much left...for me the biggest pleasure is scoring items I would not otherwise have access to...and delivering the same to others...So enjoy!
