We had a very nice meeting today, attendance was excellent with about 25 chippers (and even a few token collectors). There were 5 new members, bringing us up to 49 memberships. If you are not currently a member of the national club, I recommend that you join. The annual dues of $20 is easily covered by the quarterly club magazine.

Our next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, April 9th. Please try and get your taxes done early so you don't miss this meeting.

The Massapequa Coin Club and The Currency Club of Long Island are having their joint annual Spring Show on March 4th at the Elks Lodge, 2162 Veterans Blvd., Massapequa, NY. There should be some dealers selling chips. From the Southern State Parkway, exit 30S, left onto Veterans Blvd., the block before the trestle. The Elks Lodge is on the left.

For those of you who will be going to the Club's meeting in Las Vegas in July, I will be sending out some emails about airfares. My wife is a travel agent and can book your trips and car rentals. Club members should stay at the Tropicana to help meet our commitment to the hotel. If you have not been to the convention before, I highly recommend it. It is 3 fun filled days of chipping and there is so much to do in Vegas these days, the whole family can have a great time.
