What you say is very true, Many notables in the gaming area got their start in California card rooms and/or gaming ships off the coast of California.

However, when we are discussing chips of the large crown and/or small crown mold we have the benefit of Dennis at T.R.King to inform us where a chip order WAS SENT. I, like you, want to be accurate when we state where a chip comes from. At its best it is very difficult thing to do. Chips have been used in both places. Matty's Tropics $5.00 is a perfect example.

The problem is we have no actual evidence where the chips under discussion were used except for California. If you or anyone has actual evidence that these chips were also used in Nevada please share it with us. I for one would love to trade the $20.00 chips at Nevada prices <g>. Thanks for your note Mel.
