First off, it's people like you, who dig and dig and SHARE what they find that this hobby needs more of......I commend you and those like you.
Now to your story.....remember one thing....LOCATION...LOCATION...LOCATION!!!
If the chip you speak of was a Vegas chip then your $1000+ price would be realized. Remember that MOST times any chip NOT from Vegas with the same "rarity" will probably be "valued" at HALF of it's Vegas counterpart!
