Paul, check the archives (try Gorski not Pgorski). In a nutshell: Pete came on the thread asking what to do with some 30 chips he got from his father. He knew nothing of their value. Eventually he started putting them on ebay - 2 or 3 at a time. After each chip was put on eBay, he would come to the board to advertise it. It got a bit irksome when, rather than advertise the whole lot here, each posting would push only one chip. We were getting post after post contributing nothing save the advertisement of a single chip. Some here thought that was fine, others wished he would stop. Later on it was revealed that he was shill bidding on his own auctions. I guess that was the last straw.
