Jerry & Rich ----- I have several Top of the Vine chips (but not a $1). The $5 chip both sides have the denomination, an eagle and the name "Top of the Vine", but the letters are large enough to clear read "Vine" rather than "Mark". The Jung/Pfaender CA chip guide lists two varities of $1: blue with large letters and blue with small letters. Doesn't say anything about a horseshoe or "good luck". Not much help, I know!! But, Mel can almost certainly give a definitive answer when he can get back on here. ----- jim o\-S
