SPORTING CLUB - LONDON, ENGLAND

The Sporting Club plaques I have been selling since
1994 were found in Atlantic City, at an Antique show
in the convention center....by a club member. I
purchased all the pieces found except for three
plaques.

The �5.000 plaque seen below was made in April of
1978. There were a total of 200-pieces made by the
French manufacturer Bourgogne et Grasset, between
then and July of 1975. This exact piece was made in
'78.

In September of '95, I consigned an exact example of
this �5.000 plaque with Gaming Archaeology-Auction
N�15. The winning high-bidder paid $215 for the
plaque.

I'm now offering my last example of this beautiful,
huge 120mm (4-3/4") plaque at eBay Auctions; item
#257841787.
