Recently, I made a large purchase of chips from a collector in the LA area who was liquidating his collection. He sent the package via USPS. It took 12 days to arrive at my home on Long Island. In between the time he sent it and the time it arrived, I received several other packages from California and LV in just two or three days. At the time, I was very concerned, but sometimes you just have to be patient.
