St. Croix was scheduled to open the first casino in the US Virgin
Islands in December of 1999. Due to severe damage on the island from
Left-Handed Lenny (Hurricane), the opening has been postponed and it is
expected to open by March. Reportedly the casino only had water damage.

If anyone plans to stop or visit the island, please bring me back a
$1 and $5 chip.

The hotel is Divi Beach Resort in St. Croix.

If this casino is a success look for others to appear in the USVI in the future.
