i find that if a deal goes sour the best recourse is to file for a rebate from ebay this gets every ones attention. even if the deal is for a small amount. ebay does not like to rebate and will give warnings "EBAY credit request". it works better than a negative where he can come back in and say it was youre fault on the comment. another recourse is to ask for the persons address and name. called "ebay user query" gives you every thing but his street address which you can get from the on line telephone book. i also do exactly as Steve says. which works extremly well and creates good will. for repeat buyers and sellers.
