Last week I was searching for books about the Indy 500 and ran across the "special limited edition, very hard to find, rare Marlboro 75th Aniv. book. Which was only given to the prss and produced in linited numbers." So I wrote to the seller saying the book was given away FREE with cartons of cigarettes in 1986. She wrote back and said I was accusing her of being dishonest (and I'm not... just mistaken) and that she would have her husband contact the track to confirm (blah, blah, blah)

Rare is misused in volumeon eBay, every day. We are not alone. As for the crusade, keep up the good work! I don't like seeing new collectors taken by hucksters. Calling a common chip rare, is just not right.
