All the major chip makers offer inlaid chips, Duke. That's what most of the table chips are in the casinos these days. They don't meet the criteria for "crest and seal" that some of the old timers believer in are necessary, but they certainly are inlays.
The inlay process requireds a printed sheet of paper or plastic from which the round (or other shape) inlays are cut and laid on the plastic in the mold. Depending on the chip maker, the "clay" is then laid on the inlay or squirted around it. The result is a solid block of clay (mostly plastic these days) with the inlays imbedded in it.
I believe Chipco is the only major that doesn't normally offer these, although even they might make you one in the Unicorn mold if you were a good customer.
