I was a born and raised TEXAN named SNOWden. I joined the military in the mid-60's and where do you think Uncle Sam sent me for my first assignment?

ALASKA!! Must have been some sort of Sick, Cosmic Humor in Washington, DC. I was 19 years old and had only seen snow in the movies. I arrived in Fairbanks on December 22nd, 1966 in the middle of a blizzard and 40 below.
