Re: e-mail problems
In Response To: Re: e-mail problems ()

I don't know much about WORDS's capability to convert to a text file, but I suspect any file not intended for a word processor will lose the font information and will be displayed and printed in whatever the recipient's default font is. You might try structuring your WORD document so there are no more than 120 characters on a line. This will allow the common "line printer" fixed-spacing fonts that most printers have to print the raw file in LANDSCAPE format.

There is an option in WORD to save a file in a form that's usable by earlier versions of WORD. You might try that, although if you are using any of the fancy new features added in the last couple of years, they will be lost.

One other thought: if you are using any fonts not normally on a Microsoft Windows machine, remember that the recipient of your file must have these same font files on his PC or it won't print right. Best to use only those provided with WORD.
