Half a dozen college teams could have gone 8-0 against the NFC West -Rams this year. And of the four weak links in the division, only Carolina could have gone over .500 by beating the Rams. The others would still have been under .500 even if they'd beaten the Rams twice each.

Don't misunderstand, I think the Rams are a fine team -- great speed on both sides of the ball and a defense which was probably over-looked most of the year because the offense was so explosive. I also like Dick Vermeil and believe he will have his team ready. I just don't think they're the best team in the game tomorrow. Playing in a dome will help, but I look for Eddie George to lead the Titans to victory. ----- jim o\-S
