Travis - Granted we're in a free market, but from what I observe in this auction, our free market syetem/reasoning has very little to do with this (current?) chip reaching a $40 level. It seems that both high-bidders have a "0" feedback which kind of tells me they're not too familiar with the chip and may possibly be new to chip collecting believing it may be one of very few available. Having no idea as to what the previous blow-by-blow action was on this lot, I would think it was both the high-bidder and the bidder just below him who brought this chip to the current level. I'm quite sure John M knows what to do in this situation by not allowing a runaway.
