"It always amazes me how many people using this bb are not aware of one of the most valuable tools chippers have at their
disposal that is not being fully utilized.
Both Chequers and the CCGTCC websites maintain directories of what amounts to be a "Who's Who" in this great hobby.
Below is a link to the Chequers Directory. Would be a good idea for all chippers to bookmark it when searching for email
addresses of hundreds of chip collectors. It would also be helpful if those who have not registered their email addresses yet
would take the time to do so."
Archie, why go elsewhere when all a person has to do is go to the top of the Chipboard or chipguide and get the address's. After all, we're usually all on this board anyway, and rarely does anyone seek out the others. IMHO, that is.
Personally, I never think of going to the club site unless someone here mentions the fact that something is posted there and not here as well.
I remember someone suggesting that Greg post a link to the club webpage at the top of the chipguide. This might help remind others as well as me to check into the club site more often. It seems, however, that this board is still the grandaddy of them all and habits are difficult to change especially if one sees no particular reason to do so.
Please don't get the wrong impression and think that I am downgrading the club webpage. It is just as I stated above, that I never think of it. Of the one or two times I did happen to peruse the site due to someone's mentioning a reason why I should, I don't recall at the moment seeing anything on it that wasn't mentioned here as well.
