The car show you are referring to is the National Street Rod Assoc Nationals.
The fact that it is held each year in Louisville is a sore subject for those of us on the west coast. It use to be moved around from city to city all over the country each year until 2 years ago, when Louisville gave NSRA a package they could't refuse for the next 10 years. I have been a streetrodder for over 25 years, and have been to many regional NSRA events, but to only 2 Nationals. one in Syracuse in 1995, and one in Oklahoma City in 1997, where there was over 9000
streetrods. The definiation of a streetrod is a car built in 1948 or before, that has had some kind of modifacations done to it. With the Nationals being held in Louisville for ever, I will probably never get to another.
