Michael; I'm no expert when it comes to millennium chips, but I do have an opinion. And that is if the chip does not specifically say "millennium" on it, I would not consider it to be a millennium issue. If a chip has "Y2K" on it or simply the date "2000", or "Happy New Year", that in my opinion does not qualify it as a millennium chip. If casinos want to properly issue a chip in 2001 as a millennium issue, I think that's legitimate.... as long as the word millennium appears on those chips as well.
