John; I must confess that many of the prices in the PR book are best guesstimates based on input from other knowledgeable collectors such as yourself. Quite a few of the numbers given are not quite accurate .... so the reference to the term "GUIDE" is quite appropriate.

I had a fellow chipper point out to me just this past Sunday during the Atlantic City Chapter meeting that the metal center $1 El San Juan chip is currently on the tables..... So much for the guide, huh? I don't forsee my Puerto Rico Catalog being updated in the near future, so I don't know when some of the values expressed will be modified.
